Step 1 : From the Windows Desktop - double click to open My Computer and the Printers Folder

Step 2: Locate your default Printer and Right Click the Mouse to access and a left click open the Printer Properties

Step 3: Open the Details Tab and locate the Port Settings button

Step 4: Open the Port Settings and uncheck the two options:
Spool MS-DOS print jobs and Check port state before printing

Step 5: Click OK to close the Port Settings then Click OK to close the Details screen . Close all Open windows.
You are now ready to print
