The Carbon Steel Filter Amplifier works together with the ect MAD 8D Eddy Current System to provide a remote field and Near FieldTM eddy current inspection capability to inspect ferro-magnetic heat exchanger tubes.
The Revision 3 of this product improves the filtering which significantly improves the performance and defect detection capability when inspecting carbon steel tubes. Revision 3 also has a Remote Field/Near FieldTM switch to optimize the circuitry for either probe type.
